Why change what is not broken?
Nice new look, though.
Pity about the tree.
Does God work injustice?
There is a school of thought, that all of our lives are already worked out beforehand, and God has already worked out who are going to Live and who are going to Die.
This is a scary thought, and quite rightly so: it contradicts all reason to assign Justice to God's being; the idea of a superficial “freedom of choice,” while He has already decided beforehand where one is going. So the worst of sinners may enter Heaven on account of “His grace”: while some of the greatest true saints, while living their lives according to every Word He gave, are damned, simply on account of His decision.
There is an opposing school of thought, that God left all decision on mankind's ending to themselves, and therefore one's actions and decisions dictate God's decisions, which influences where one ends up. This is another scary thought, for this indicates that the omnipotent, omniscient Creator of all has no control over the future, and literally takes a gamble, on whether or not mankind will obey His Word; adjusting Himself to mankind's whims and decisions, the Master becoming the slave and the King becoming the servant.
For those who believe the lie, that God exists to serve mankind (and this heresy has taken post in the modern teachings): Jesus Christ has become Man to serve his Father's will. He did what pleased the Father, not what pleased men. And His ultimate sign of obedience to God the Father, was to give His life as ransom for many (not all); for few shall follow where He has led, and few shall find the Way to Life and enter through the narrow gate.
His appearance to st. John on Patmos, was not at all that of a servant. He appeared as the Prince of Peace, ready to come to earth to take control and, with his faithful servants, prepare the earth over a thousand years for the coming of God the Father with New Jerusalem.
There is a third school of thought on the topic of “predestination”, which is rarely heard:
Since time is non-existent in eternity (even time shall end, indicating that it is part of the creation), it means that God is not limited to time. At all. Which means, He sees Creation Day 1, Judgment Day, and all days in-between, at once.
So He does not need to decide beforehand, who goes where. Mankind decides it on their own. God has mercy on whom He wills, for He wills to have mercy on all who obey His commandments. It is man's choice, not God's which eventually leads to God's Judgment for Life or for Death.
Simply put, God sees right now, the past, present and future. And He sees on creation day 1 already what man has decided four years from now.
So He does not need to be unjust, to have His chosen people. He chose them, based on their decisions. That is why He could say that He loved Jacob from the beginning, but hated Esau. One Worldly “blessing” and a moment of impatience...
Double Standards
Amazingly, evolutionists claim to be “open minded” in believing that all animals currently known to be on earth, are all animals on earth, all others have died out MILL-YONS-OFF-YEAHS-AGOO!!!!
… and they call six-day creationists visionless bigots, for believing that all life on earth was made by God in six days, roughly six thousand years ago, dinosaurs included, and that some might still be alive in the jungles and oceans. Anybody else see some serious double vision in there?
The denial and betrayal of the Emergent Church
People want to call God their Father, but they reject the idea of His punishment on those who who disobey His commandments. People want to call Jesus Christ their Lord, but they reject the necessity to obey His commands. People want to call the Holy Spirit their Guide, but they reject any guidance that opposes the direction they wish to go. People want to call themselves “Friend of God,” while rejecting the True Faith for a Worldly religion based on materialism. Three times will they deny the Trinity in order to fit Him into their lifestyles, instead of styling their lives around Him; and they will rather betray Him for Worldly “blessing” and unity, being a friend of the god of this World, than to be rejected by the World for coming out of it and being separated unto God.
God called Abraham, His friend, because he believed on God's promise. Note: Abraham had to leave all he knew and set off into the unknown, going where God told Him to go. God sent the son of the slave to gain the World's riches, while the son of the Inheritance Promise, even now, struggles against the World to survive. God showed Himself to the son who longed for the birthright, while the son who rejected his birthright for a Worldly “blessing” that was used up in that same moment, could never get it back.
God in the flesh as Jesus Christ, was openly rebuked by St. Peter for His negative words and persecuted by St. Paul while he still was Saul, yet both were mightily used by God to spread His gospel; while Judas Iscariot openly showed his love and his compassion for the poor, above the anointing of the Son of God, and betrayed Him with a sign of brotherly love, to gain Worldly “blessing.” And those to whom he betrayed the Lord, rejected the traitor also, and he could find no recourse to undo the murder of the innocent blood, and therefore no forgiveness, so much, that he committed suicide afterwards.
And the modern Emergent Church takes it past the previous limits: portraying those who believe in separation from the World; who believe in obeying God's commandments; who believe in testing what the spirits say with what the Holy Spirit inspired Scripture says, as legalistic bigots who bring division into the church; while the Emergents claim that all worship the same god, under many different names and in many different ways; portraying the machinations of men's minds and from the mouths of devils, not as other religions any more, but as other denominations. And in this, they reject the Word of God, without whom none shall come unto the Father, to Whose Standard men and women must go to find the only Way, the only Life and the only Truth, for a Worldly christ-image of their own imagination, who conforms to their standards.
God shall have no mercy on those who know the Truth, yet, Driven by their Lives' own Purpose, exchange it for the unity of the World and refuse to be corrected.
Daniel 8 vs Rick Warren
Word-Faith allegory
[an allegory on the danger of the Word-Faith cult]
Violent fingers clenched
Iron surrounding copper and lead
a Spark of insanity builds up despair
a Cry in the Dark
Iron lets go of copper and lead
a Depression of speed and metal meets air
Violent hands open
Iron drops down while copper hits ground
and lead turns into a pressurized head
Violently hands fall
Iron and copper strewn out to each side
while life escapes through a way made by lead
Violent hands lay still
Iron and copper and lead on the ground
Faithful witnesses to dealing with sin.
An open letter from Corrie Ten Boom
Very SOBERING WORD
-by Corrie Ten Boom.
Miss Corrie Ten Boom was a Dutch survivor of the Nazi
Concentration Camps, and a lifelong missionary. Corrie was a
believer in facing tribulation. She was one of the many people who
were persecuted in concentration camps during the World War II.
Her family was murdered before her eyes, but though her life was
threatened, God led her through that terrible time. She lived to
testify all over the world of how God brought her out of that time of
trouble. In the worst days in the concentration camp she and her
sister Betsy discovered that "there is no pit so deep that the
Presence of God is not there with us". In an interview titled
"Prepared for the Coming Tribulation", Miss Corrie Ten Boom held
very definite view concerning the rapture. In the following message
she shared a plea for the saints to prepare themselves for the
possibility that at some point their faith may be tested. It serves
today as a timely warning to us in the comfortable and complacent
western church as we approach the threshold of the endtime drama.
Here is her exhortation to us from a letter she wrote in 1974:
ESCAPE TRIBULATION? -WRONG!
-Corrie Ten Boom.
"The world is deathly ill. It is dying. The Great Physician has
already signed the death certificate. Yet there is still a great work
for Christians to do. They are to be streams of living water,
channels of mercy to those who are still in the world. It is possible
for them to do this because they are overcomers.
Christians are ambassadors for Christ. They are representatives
from Heaven to this dying world. And because of our presence
here, things will change.
My sister, Betsy, and I were in the Nazi concentration camp at
Ravensbruck because we committed the crime of loving Jews.
Seven hundred of us from Holland, France, Russia, Poland and
Belgium were herded into a room built for two hundred. As far as I
knew, Betsy and I were the only two representatives of Heaven in that room.
We may have been the Lord's only representatives in that place of
hatred, yet because of our presence there, things changed. Jesus
said, "In the world you shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world." We too, are to be overcomers -
bringing the light of Jesus into a world filled with darkness and hate.
Sometimes I get frightened as I read the Bible, and as I look in this
world and see all of the tribulation and persecution promised by the
Bible coming true. Now I can tell you, though, if you too are afraid,
that I have just read the last pages. I can now come to shouting
"Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" for I have found where it is written that
Jesus said, "He that overcometh shall inherit all things: and I will
be His God, and he shall be My son." This is the future and hope
of this world. Not that the world will survive - but that we shall be
overcomers in the midst of a dying world.
Betsy and I, in the concentration camp, prayed that God would
heal Betsy who was so weak and sick. "Yes, the Lord will heal
me,", Betsy said with confidence. She died the next day and I
could not understand it. They laid her thin body on the concrete
floor along with all the other corpses of the women who died that day.
It was hard for me to understand, to believe that God had a
purpose for all that. Yet because of Betsy's death, today I am
traveling all over the world telling people about Jesus.
There are some among us teaching there will be no tribulation, that
the Christians will be able to escape all this. These are the false
teachers that Jesus was warning us to expect in the latter days.
Most of them have little knowledge of what is already going on
across the world. I have been in countries where the saints are
already suffering terrible persecution.
In China, the Christians were told, "Don't worry, before the
tribulation comes you will be translated - raptured." Then came a
terrible persecution. Millions of Christians were tortured to death.
Later I heard a Bishop from China say, sadly,
"We have failed. We should have made the people strong for
persecution rather than telling them Jesus would come first. Tell
the people how to be strong in times of persecution, how to stand
when the tribulation comes - to stand and not faint."
I feel I have a divine mandate to go and tell the people of this world
that it is possible to be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in
training for the tribulation, but more than sixty percent of the Body
of Christ across the world has already entered into the tribulation.
There is no way to escape it.
We are next.
Since I have already gone through prison for Jesus' sake, and
since I met the Bishop in China, now every time I read a good
Bible text I think, "Hey, I can use that in the time of tribulation."
Then I write it down and learn it by heart.
When I was in the concentration camp, a camp where only twenty
percent of the women came out alive, we tried to cheer each other
up by saying, "Nothing could be any worse than today." But we
would find the next day was even worse. During this time a Bible
verse that I had committed to memory gave me great hope and joy.
"If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you;
on their part evil is spoken of,
but on your part He is glorified."
(I Peter 3:14)
I found myself saying, "Hallelujah!
Because I am suffering, Jesus is glorified!"
In America, the churches sing, "Let the congregation escape
tribulation", but in China and Africa the tribulation has already
arrived. This last year alone more than two hundred thousand
Christians were martyred in Africa. Now things like that never get
into the newspapers because they cause bad political relations.
But I know. I have been there. We need to think about that when
we sit down in our nice houses with our nice clothes to eat our
steak dinners. Many, many members of the Body of Christ are
being tortured to death at this very moment, yet we continue right
on as though we are all going to escape the tribulation.
Several years ago I was in Africa in a nation where a new
government had come into power. The first night I was there some
of the Christians were commanded to come to the police station to
register. When they arrived they were arrested and that same night
they were executed. The next day the same thing happened with
other Christians. The third day it was the same. All the Christians
in the district were being systematically murdered.
The fourth day I was to speak in a little church. The people came,
but they were filled with fear and tension. All during the service
they were looking at each other, their eyes asking, "Will this one I
am sitting beside be the next one killed? Will I be the next one?"
The room was hot and stuffy with insects that came through the
screenless windows and swirled around the naked bulbs over the
bare wooden benches. I told them a story out of my childhood.
"When I was a little girl, " I said, "I went to my father and said,
'Daddy, I am afraid that I will never be strong enough to be a
martyr for Jesus Christ."
"Tell me," said Father, "When you take a train trip to Amsterdam,
when do I give you the money for the ticket? Three weeks before?"
"No, Daddy, you give me the money for the ticket just before we
get on the train."
"That is right," my father said, "and so it is with God's strength.
Our Father in Heaven knows when you will need the strength to be
a martyr for Jesus Christ. He will supply all you need - just in time."
My African friends were nodding and smiling. Suddenly a spirit of
joy descended upon that church and the people began singing,
"In the sweet, by and by,
we shall meet on that beautiful shore."
Later that week, half the congregation of that church was executed.
I heard later that the other half was killed some months ago. But I
must tell you something. I was so happy that the Lord used me to
encourage these people, for unlike many of their leaders, I had the
word of God. I had been to the Bible and discovered that Jesus
said He had not only overcome the world, but to all those who
remained faithful to the end, He would give a crown of life.
How can we get ready for the persecution? First we need to feed
on the word of God, digest it, make it a part of our being. This will
mean disciplined Bible study each day as we not only memorize
long passages of scripture, but put the principles to work in our lives.
Next we need to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Not just the Jesus of yesterday, the Jesus of History, but the life-
changing Jesus of today who is still alive and sitting at the right
hand of God.
We must be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is no optional
command of the Bible, it is absolutely necessary. Those earthly
disciples could never have stood up under the persecution of the
Jews and Romans had they not waited for Pentecost. Each of us
needs our own personal Pentecost, the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We will never be able to stand in the tribulation without it.
In the coming persecution we must be ready to help each other
and encourage each other. But we must not wait until the
tribulation comes before starting. The fruit of the Spirit should be
the dominant force of every Christian's life.
Many are fearful of the coming tribulation, they want to run. I, too,
am a little bit afraid when I think that after all my eighty years,
including the horrible Nazi concentration camp, that I might have to
go through the tribulation also. But then I read the Bible and I am glad.
When I am weak, then I shall be strong, the Bible says. Betsy and
I were prisoners for the Lord, we were so weak, but we got power
because the Holy Spirit was on us. That mighty inner
strengthening of the Holy Spirit helped us through. No, you will not
be strong in yourself when the tribulation comes. Rather, you will
be strong in the power of Him who will not forsake you. For
seventy-six years I have known the Lord Jesus and not once has
He ever left me, or let me down.
"Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him", for I know that to all who
overcome, He shall give the crown of life. Hallelujah!
Saved in suicide?
So there are a few questions on the topic of suicide
Always keep in mind that there are three examples of suicide in the bible - four, if you count in Abimelech ordering his armourbearer to kill him - :
- Saul, who refused to give the glory to God until the end, even when the prophecy concerning his death was about to come true, he rather let his pride dictate how he died, than finally confessing he was wrong and dying glorifying God's Omnipotence and Omnipresence. This goes hand-in-hand with the lie that “YOU are the most important person in your life.” Which means that you are to decide when you live and when you die.
- Ahithophel, David's counsellor, who joined in the rebellion against David. His advice was defeated by Hushai, David's undercover-operating friend, and his pride withheld him from taking notice that his advice, which used to be good in David's eyes, was now corrupted; so, instead of returning to the king, he died serving the prince, the self-proclaimed king. Like wise, those who served God, yet fell away for easy days during hard times, shall be damned if they do not repent and return to God.
- And, the embodiment of all idioms concerning treason and treachery. Judas Iscariot sold his eternity for a few moments of glory on earth. And in the end, those who were to be his benefactors, cast him out in the same way they cast Jesus out. And the young man who was born blind. A good lesson to learn here: nobody likes a traitor, least of all those with whom he sided in his treason. There are many theories about the possibility that he might have been forgiven, had he asked; Jesus said in His prayer that He had lost none, except the one who was meant to go to perdition. Maybe because he had known and took part in the Heavenly gifts; maybe because his conscience ate him up and he thought not of asking for forgiveness, a chance to repent; whichever way, this last example is the saddest of all: he walked with Jesus, he proclaimed Jesus, he even worked the power of the Holy Ghost. And damningly saddening, they are all around us. Those who wish to serve the the World and gain God's "blessing," though in this case it means:
-popularity and fame
-riches, both physical and spiritual
-leadership positions
If God did not put them in those positions to glorify Him, they belong not there. But the Prosperity Harlotry dictates that all need to have physical riches, be popular and be in leadership positions. So much for being the least and servant of all... This leads to what i have seen a few times already: people, serious about God, being so desperate to have the proof of God's "blessing," that they, most times it seems unintentionally, chase the worldly grades. And sadly, when showed on the error of their ways, the first (sometimes second) justification is: "Who died and made you God?" or the alternative: "Who are you to judge me?"
To point out where one has erred, is to point out where there is a chance to make right, repent and be saved. Judgement, means to say that the time for repentance is over. That, is applicable to many church leaders, who have lead souls to hell after Worldly unity. People wish to hear all shall be forgiven, just go on with your life. Not that way. Ask forgiveness in the Name of Jesus, repent (turn away from the evil and live according to God's rule), and then go on with your new life.
Salvation comes only by hearing, understanding and obeying the gospel of Jesus Christ. Which only comes by the power of the Holy Ghost. Who only comes when sent by Jesus. Who shall send Him, to those who sincerely ask God for understanding of His Word.
I am one blessed, though it sometimes feels like a curse, with sadness for lost souls; with the ability to cry my heart out to God, for those i know are not saved and shall burn if they die now. Even myself, at times, when i notice that i have taken my eyes off God's glory and aimed for my own. Few be there, who will understand what these lines mean.
Be bold. Be strong. The Tribulation is soon on us, coming from within the church. 2012 is a true false prophecy. False, because God is not going to be on earth physically, ruling over His church, demanding the death of the Old Generation believers. True, because that is what the False Prophet is about to demand in the name of their god. Take note of Verichip and its PLD. Take note of the conglomeration of countries and states into ten mega-regions. Take note of the cashless society. Do not take part in the One World Government or the One World Religion: The Emergent Church, all religions united, lead by lucifer (satan) itself, in the final, ultimate rebellion against God the Father and Son and Holy Ghost.
May our Lord take care of all your needs according to His Will.
With love.
Echelons
It all comes down to two things:
1.Obeying your Number One, the boat commander (the coxswain is the Number Two); and
2.self-discipline.
When maneuvring on the sea, the waves shall always have an effect on the direction the boat is moving. Sure, you may have plotted your course to perfection, but one wave may result in a serious change in direction. The sea is not a silent pool of water. It has different sizes of waves and strengths of currents. Which is why it is necessary, to always have some form of navigation equipment at hand.
It is also a good idea, to take as many stationary beacons as possible, from the surrounding area, and even the horizon; of course, this only works while the coast is still in sight.
The Number Two does the steering; and the speeding up and slowing down of the boat. And it is his/her responsibility, to avoid hazards and overcome obstacles where they might be encountered. And if the hazard was unseen, such as a blinder (rock just beneath the surface), then why was the boat there? A properly worked out navigation plan, probably would have avoided that area altogether, what about one rock?
But the Number Two only goes where and when the Number One commands. The Number One of the leading boat, decides in which formation the group moves. Do they move in single file? He decides. Do they move in V-formation? He orders it. Do they go all abreast? He gives the signal. The Number One on each boat signals the same command to the next, and the Number Two takes the boat where it must be. Which is why all must use the same signals and understand the meaning thereof. One unknown signal, could throw the group into disarray, unless they
1.find out what it means, or
2.refuse to obey unknown commands and continue on their way, until they receive a command that they recognise.
The Number One decides where and when he wants to anchor the boat, if needs be. But he waits for the Number Two, to tell him to let go the anchor, before he drops it into the water. And he waits for the Number Two, to tell him to lift the anchor before raising it into the boat.
Should the boat be moving and somebody falls out, for some reason, it is the Number One who shouts “Man over board!” and points towards the person. But if the Number Two does not turn and go there, that person may drown. Even if the Number Two takes too long, the person may drown, or even die of hypothermia.
But in some cases, the Number One will interfere and take over from the Number Two.
So, how can this all be applied to the Father and Jesus and the Holy Ghost, in their interaction with people?
The World shall throw all it can, against you if you are a true follower of Jesus Christ. But if you have the Navigation plan for life and the map of the way you are on, called the bible (I prefer the old King James Version, for serious reasons); if you use it daily to plot your course, and use as many stationary beacons, in this case not worldly belongings, but Godly gifts; be it the Power of the Holy Ghost in you or remembering His gift of Jesus' crucifiction; or even being reminded of the rain He stopped, so you can finish your work; or the open highway during peak hour; whatever the case may be, remember what He has done for you, when it feels that life is getting too much, and thank Him for it; He shall silence the storms, and calm down the waves, and you will be able to handle what comes your way.
And using His Word as guide, you will be able to know where the unseen and unknown dangers lurk, and steer away from them.
You may be tempted to, and maybe you will, at times, question the wisdom of His decision. And feel free to do whatever you want. And then, wonder why an unseen boat rammed yours from the side? God, your Number One, is the one looking around for obstacles and hazards; you look ahead to where you must go, and make space for others to pass or get alongside. But when He tells you to stop, you STOP. When He tells you to slow down and let another pass, YOU SLOW DOWN. A formation can only be formed, if the leading boat slows down and gives the others chance to catch up.
God knows what is best and what we need. But if you do not ask, why should He give to you? This is not a Prosperity Harlotry, this is a statement: denying your needs, when God knows and you know, what you need, is not humbleness. It is pride, even as low as arrogance. God wants you to admit that you cannot go on, on your own. The Number One drops the anchor, when the Number Two tells him to drop the anchor.
And when you see a brother or sister in Jesus sinning in weakness, do not judge from the start; for you were once also a sinner, damned if not for the Blood of the Lamb that you had accepted as your Lord and Saviour. He shall always send His children to one another, to comfort and guide the fallen back to life. But if the fallen rejects the rescue, and decides that it is better to stay in the water than to get back into the boat, then, at some point, God expects you to let go. For those who keep on sinning, well knowing it leads to death, after having known the Life and the power of the Holy Ghost in their lives, reject Life and therefore, have no forgiveness left. The “Man over board!” becomes “Drowned man!” The fallen becomes the damned. And no matter what Hollywood makes it out to be, to be damned is not a good thing; it is not a “cool” thing. It is hot. Eternally-burning-in-sulpher -hot.
But if you do not turn to rescue the fallen; if you leave him there, his soul shall be demanded of you. You needed Jesus to die, for your sins, to be able to enter Life. How will you pay for another's soul, if you could not pay for your own?
The Number Two MUST obey the Number One, if the boat group is to stick together and all members are to get to their destination. And all must know the commands and teachings as from the same God, and refuse to obey unknown commands and listen to strange teachings, that do not go with the bible.
That is easy to recognise, when one has the Holy Ghost and read the Word every day; and obey what is written.
And that is why you also need self-discipline.
The Unforgivable sin...
If you sin, repent as soon as it you realise it. Otherwise it will slowly but surely, either kill your conscience, to the point where it seems acceptable, then accepted, then the norm... and then right. Woe to them that call wrong, right and right, wrong. Woe to this World, that turns against those who love their fellow men enough to point out where they sinned.
Many good people are in Hell, and many bad people are in Heaven. Because the good people in Hell discounted the Grace of God and the Blood of the Lamb, staying out of matters where they should have shown the wrong doing. Sin is not acceptable to God, just because it is committed by a “christian.” And the bad people in Heaven, not knowing the Law, became a law unto themselves, being judged according to the conscience.
Stop sinning. And if you see a brother or sister sin, tell him/her as soon as possible; immediately, is preferable.
May God have mercy and grace to keep us from evil.
